- Please Note: there are cattle grates preventing the cows from entering the area close to the home, but you may have to drive slowly if the herd is grazing on the lower forty, as there are no fences down there, and the cows tend to wander across the road right when you get close. Happy Cows...
- Fully gated pool - not heated, so it's fun in the Summer, but a cold plunge otherwise.
- Two Fireplaces, firelogs provided.
- New gas grill out on the back terrace - Bring your favorite foods, this is grillers paradise.
- This is the ultimate family and group home.
- Open kitchen/dining/living room, opening out to the deck, so those in the kitchen can still be a part of the action.
- Old school decor - It's so retro and real, it's cool.
- Very large footprint - this is a very large, solid home, with most rooms having their own private en-suite full bathroom.
- Kids/singles room has four single 4-poster beds. Classic.
- Professionally managed by a small, local, family run company. We are available 24/7/365. This is what we do.
- Our cleaning crew are paid a living wage of $25 per hour. What you pay for the cleaning fee is exactly what they take home. We use all "green" cleaning products, we all have kids, it's very important to us.
- We do have a video surveillance camera on the parking area (only), as well as family members who live at the main ranch house. So while your privacy and comfort is assured, we will not tolerate any abuse of our "NO PARTIES - NO ANIMALS" policy. Outside guests are limited to 2 without prior approval. So please don't try to throw your reception party or whatever here. If that's what you're looking for we have other homes which are more appropriate. Thank you for being respectful of this unique property.

Just a couple minute's drive, or walk or bike into the town of Nicasio. Rancho Nicasio restaurant/bar/event venue has live music every weekend. Nicasio Valley Cheese company (made from the happy cows on the property) is less than a mile away.Nicasio Reservoir is popular with local anglers, with easy access less than 1/4 mile from the house.
