It is a 5 minute drive to the town of Nicasio (restaurants, cheese/wine tasting, live music), and 10 minutes to Point Reyes Station. 15 minutes to the Point Reyes National Seashore, and 20 minutes to Marshall (Hog Island Oyster Company). There is fishing and hiking allowed in the reservoir just across the road, and the area is epic for cycling.
